I was an Investigator in the Forsyth County Public Defender's Office since it's inception in 2003 until I opted to leave for private practice in March, 2015. I've been lead investigator on more than 50 murder investigations (including multiple capital cases), countless high-level felonious criminal investigations, and thousands of misdemeanor criminal investigations.

 

My late father was a well-known and highly-respected criminal defense and civil/domestic attorney in Forsyth County for over 40 years. I worked for him over the summers and got to know my way around criminal, civil/domestic, and estates law (including law suits, divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, and wills). I know my way around courthouses throughout the state and can find the nuggets of information that other investigators regard as superfluous information. I leave no stone unturned.

 

In 2013, I decided that I should broaden my investigatory horizons by getting licensed as a private investigator through the NC Private Protective Services Bureau. I was received without question and maintain my license without incident.
